International Congresses of Endocrinology

The ISE works with its member societies to hold a two yearly ISE-affiliated meeting in rotation between Asia/Oceania, Europe/Africa and The Americas. The next meeting will be held in partnership with the European Society of Endocrinology in Italy:

15th International Congress of Endocrinology is being held jointly with the 14th European Congress of Endocrinology in Florence, Italy, 5-9 May 2012. Click here to for more information and important dates for your diary.

Supported Meetings

In addition to the main 2 yearly meeting, the ISE helps to foster the globalization and inter-regional development of, existing National meetings, offering ISE supported Symposia, Plenary lectures and Travel fellowships in particular to member societies from emerging nations.

ISE Members wishing to be considered for support in 2013 should submit the below form no later than 31st May 2012.

	The 16th AFES Congress hosted by The Vietnam Endocrine Society - November 2011 This year ISE were proud to support it's regional partner, the ASEAN Federation of Societies at AFES 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. ISE brought together a team of highly esteemed experts to present important innovations and cutting-edge research from around the globe. 	The 1st Annual Meeting of Endocrinology Endocrine and Metabolism Metabolic Society of Ghana (EMSG) - December 2009 A trip to Ghana by two of our Executive Committee Members, Paul Stewart (Secretary Treasurer) and Xavier Bertagna, saw the launch of EMSG. The meeting took place at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons - an impressively large and modern building within the city of Accra. The meeting was a huge success in raising the profile of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism across Ghana and establishing new initiatives. Past Events

The 14th International Congress of Endocrinology (ICE 2010) was held in Kyoto, Japan on 26-30 March 2010. ICE 2010 Kyoto the first new style of ICE under the new statutes of the ISE. The host society, the Japan Endocrine Society organised an outstanding congress that brought together over 5,000 leading endocrinologists from around the world and showcased the latest in scientific findings related to the field of endocrinology across the globe. ISE Endorsement

		The ISE is pleased to give thoughtful consideration to all applications for endorsement or support of member events and meetings. As an international organization and in the interest of fairness we employ a regional rotation policy when selecting meetings to support each year. Inline with our global mission, priority will be given to activities throughout the developing world and specifically in countries and regions most in need of support.
